Project: Megaplex Magazine
Prompt: Create a print format magazine showcasing various work through comics, illustration, and short stories, all wrapped in a stylish design.
From doodle, to pencils, to mock cover, to final cover
What role did you play in creating this work?
I did the design and layouts of the magazine, I illustrated every drawing and comic, I wrote the short stories, and I illustrated and designed the cover. It's 100% me.
Process:
The idea came to me out of frusration over not being able to make signifcicnt work on my projects due to other obligations, thus I slowly worked on this little magazine with the intention to print.
Every Sunday or so I'd do little more work or do a project that could be added to, it became like a bit of escapism at the end of the week, something to do before returning to the usual routine. It's a project that I will continue to update and work on as the weeks go on. I would want a full print version of it.
Problems:
The main issue with this project was finding time to work on it as I had no obligation to, it's not a job or an assignment for a class. It is merely my own personal project that I needed to find time for.

Reflection:
This was a project made for fun, and I feel it captures the fun of designing and allows me to use all my skills, from illustration to writing, to design. It's an exciting way to present samples of my work from the last couple of months and fits well along with the other projects in my website.
